Bakra Eid Mubarak 2016 SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook greetings

Happy Eid! Eid al-Adha, also known as Bakraid. This year, 2016 Eid al-Adha is being celebrated on September 12 and 13, depending upon which part of the world you’re living in.

In India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, the festival of sacrifice will be celebrated on Sept. 14. But in South India, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Sept. 13, as the moon was sighted on Friday.

In Malaysia, Brunei, Turkey, Oman, North America, Saudi Arabia and Japan will mark Sept. 13, as the first day of Eid al-Adha. Eid al-Adha is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar.
